Here's part 2 of the photos i took in Israel. Den den den den.....
The conference room in the hotel. This is where we had our buffet dinner, followed by a message from Pastor Ulf or a guest speaker.
Dad leading worship on the bus, to start off a new day. The guy to his left is Pastor Karl, a pastor from Word of Life Church, Sweden (Pastor Ulf's church). He is the one that preaches to us and prays with us at the different sites we visit. Amazingly powerful Christian, Pastor Karl is.
This is Jerusalem, taken from Peter Gallicantu, which is the place where Peter denied Jesus 3 times.
Notice the golden dome to the left of the picture. That is the Dome of the Rock, which is a Muslim mosque where the muslims believe that the prophet Muhammed rose to heaven. That site is where the Temple of God used to stand. The temple, first built by King Solomon, rebuilt by Ezekiel (correct?) and then by King Herod, was destroyed and was laid as a ruin, and in fact was used as a garbage disposal area, until the mosque was built.
This is what Jesus would have seen from the Mount of Olives. That is the temple built by King Herod. The area to the left (red roofs) is the rich area, probably where Pilate's court was. Below that area is the City of David.
Family pic with pastor Kong. From left to right, My uncle, dad, Pastor Kong, Cousin, yours truly, mom, auntie.
